In an inspiring event, eight individuals who have triumphed over sarcoma participated in a transformative three-day surf camp held at The Wave in Bristol. This unique initiative, named Surfing Through Sarcoma, was spearheaded by Stephen Downes, a cancer survivor and two-time English kneeboard champion. The program was launched through Downes’ newly established community interest company, The Dawn Patrol Project. The participants enjoyed their stay at The Camp at The Wave, where they engaged in surfing activities and built a supportive community.
